BranchClan

No New Posts BranchClan Camp
a million dreams by Serpentstride Jun 11, 2019 8:36:44 GMT

BranchClan have transformed an abandoned Twoleg structure into their primary camp. It's been abandoned for many seasons, with ivy and other vines clinging to its surface, and offers great shelter against the elements, along with the fact that it's lofted above the ground, protecting them from any predators down below. The shelter is split into two different dens; the medicine cat den and the nursery. The leader themself sleeps in an abandoned eagle nest higher in the tree branches, and warriors and apprentices alike sleep along nearby branches.

No New Posts BranchClan Territory
No posts have been made on this board.

BranchClan has made their home in a section of temperate rain-forest that is thick with vines, mosses and trees alike. The heavy canopy can often make the area seem shaded and dim, but the fact that the trees are so close together makes it easy for them to travel through the treetops. They prefer to keep high as much as they can which means much of their prey also keeps to the treetops, such as birds, squirrels, and so on.

CavernClan

No New Posts CavernClan Camp
No posts have been made on this board.

The CavernClan camp is located in a series of underground caves. Several smaller caves break off within the entrance, leading to various prism rocks and a small hole where prey is kept as well as a variety of dens: the apprentice den, warrior den, medicine cat den, nursery, and elder's den. Past the den entrances, there is a pool of water leading to a small, rocky island where the leader's den is, as well as where the leader makes announcements. Stepping stones lead across the water to the island.

No New Posts CavernClan Territory
No posts have been made on this board.

CavernClan has made its home deep underground, often keeping to a series of rocky tunnels under the earth. They have also laid claim to the rocky cliffside just beyond the entrance to the main cavern. Despite CavernClan's unique and beautiful area, the tunnels require much care; if they flood, drowning is a distinct possibility.

MeadowClan

No New Posts MeadowClan Camp
living in the present by Graystar May 11, 2019 3:19:20 GMT

The MeadowClan camp is centered around a series of abandoned rabbit burrows which have been cleared out and widened to make room for the cats. These entrances are often difficult to spot by outsiders, as they are often hidden by undergrowth and other foliage. There are three dens, all in separate burrows of varying sizes: the medicine cat den, the warrior den, and the leader's den.

No New Posts MeadowClan Territory
a chance encounter. by Abby Apr 10, 2019 4:31:41 GMT

MeadowClan's territory is centered on a wide, open field that is rife with beautiful, colorful flowers with the occasional collection of rocks here and there. The empty space makes it difficult for larger predators to blend in and also means that the majority of prey in their territory is small, fast prey such as rabbits and field mice. The edges of the territory are fringed by thick groves of pine trees.

ReedClan

No New Posts ReedClan Camp
the new regime by Torrentstar Jun 29, 2019 5:08:46 GMT

The ReedClan camp is centered around a still, stagnant pool of water and an abandoned beaver dam. The entrance to the main warrior den (formerly the beaver lodge) is hidden under water, meaning the warriors in ReedClan must be adept at swimming in order to access it. There is also a smaller, hidden entrance above water for elders and other cats that might have trouble accessing the den by water. The other dens (for medicine cats and leaders) are located along the stagnant pool, created from mud, sticks, and reeds alike, well-hidden from outsiders and above ground so that they stay as dry as possible.

No New Posts ReedClan Territory
dawn patrol shmawn patrol by Dustpaw Apr 3, 2019 19:32:58 GMT

ReedClan's territory consists of large, expansive redwood forests that surround the center pool and stream on all sides. The redwoods aren't terribly close together, but the underbrush of ferns is thick and offers considerable cover for patrols to move through. There are several other rivers and streams that cut through the forest, which means much of ReedClan's diet consists of fish, namely salmon, suckers, and sticklebacks. Land mammals consist of moles, shrews, squirrels, and brush rabbits. However, due to the forest's size, larger mammals are also a threat, such as bears, elk, foxes, coyotes, and so on.

The Borders

No New Posts Clan Borders
called out in the dark by Wolfstone May 22, 2019 2:34:08 GMT

Much of the clan borders exist in thick forest with ferns growing as the underbrush. These borders are quiet and often peaceful but home to larger predators since the warriors tend to steer clear of the borders, which are usually designated by scent markers. Take care when approaching the borders; one can never be sure when a patrol may come across an outside cat getting too close.

No New Posts The High Rocks
No posts have been made on this board.

The High Rocks are a set of small, rocky cliffs littered with pine trees and cut by a stream that cascades down into a small waterfall. This outcropping is the centermost point between all four clans and acts as the meeting place for the monthly Gathering. Due to this, it is considered "neutral territory", though those lingering outside a gathering can be expected to be questioned by passing patrols.

The Star-Drip Cave is the most sacred place that exists among the clans. It's a beautiful cave hidden behind a waterfall with a large, clear pool of water inside. This cave is where the half-moon gathering for all medicine cats take place and where leaders receive their nine lives. Any cat that wants to can visit the Star-Drip cave.

No New Posts The Twolegplace
No posts have been made on this board.

This is where kittypets and sometimes loners call their home. Twoleg dens are lined up side-by-side along hard, bare black paths, with tall walls closing in their gardens. Numerous dangers lurk there: dogs, large metal animals that could crush a cat in an instant, and of course the Twolegs themselves. Those who consider themselves part of the wild, true to the Warrior Code, are forbidden from going to the Twolegplace.

curiosity killed the cat [open] by Jane Apr 2, 2019 1:41:46 GMT

There is much wilderness outside the territories, but the fact that they are unexplored and strange makes them dangerous. Those that venture too far into this unfamiliar area often end up hurt do to the fact that it is teeming with larger predators.
