PERSONALITY
Blake is a very easygoing, happy-go-lucky tom with a deeply adventurous spirit. While he grew up spoiled and well-cared for as a former kittypet, Blake found he was deeply unsatisfied with this lifestyle. He wanted to go out and live for himself! Catch his own food, fend for himself, like he heard the wild cats did! As soon as the opportunity arose he leaped for it, dragging his brother Percival out with him. Blake is a very chill cat and doesn't really sweat the small stuff, and he's very sociable and friendly. His first instinct upon meeting another cat isn't to fight, but to talk and try and get to know more about them. He has a very curious nature, although sometimes this may lead him into trouble. More often than not, Percival has needed to protect the younger tom from trouble.
HISTORY
Blake was born in a small twoleg home to his mother Ash. His father was a loner who occasionally roamed the neighborhood, though he tended not to visit all that often. His brother Percival was a good few moons older than Blake and he took to his younger brother very quickly. The two toms became very close very quickly. They were cared for by a sweet elderly couple, who adored the little family immensely. The only notable thing that happened in this time period was when their mother grew sick, and eventually passed away.
Blake and Percival spent many moons living with their twolegs. While Percival seemed to enjoy the attention, Blake always felt unsatisfied. He would often gaze out the window and wonder what was out there. His mother had told him stories of wild cats before she passed, and it piqued his interest. He had been an adventurous soul since he'd been born, it seemed. During the night, Blake would sneak out of the house and roam the neighborhood to his hearts' content, exploring everywhere he could before returning to the house at sunrise.
Blake met a tom next door who he grew to be best friends with very fast named Shiloh. He was quite shy and reserved, but Blake was able to get him to open up fairly quickly due to his easygoing nature. They would spend lots of time together outside, chatting and just generally having a good time. Even so, Blake could feel a yearning deep inside of him. The stories of the wild cats haunted him, always in the back of his mind. He wanted to go out and see what it felt like to live out in the wild. It would be exciting, thrilling even!
Percival and Shiloh were not very thrilled to hear this, though. They were perfectly happy with their lifestyles; why leave when they were happy and well-fed? Living out in the wild was a hard, rough way to live, they reasoned. Blake knew that, but he still wanted to try. As much as Shiloh disliked the idea, he decided he would tag along with Blake if he decided to leave. Percival was much more indecisive, but eventually agreed to come just so he could keep an eye on his little brother.
The next night, Blake led Percival out of the house. They met up with the silent Shiloh on the edge of the neighborhood, and together the three toms made their way into the wild. Blake had been teaching himself how to hunt and surprisingly seemed to have a natural talent. He provides for the three toms with his hunting, while Percival has taken it upon himself to protect Blake and Shiloh no matter what.
