PANROMANTIC PANSEXUAL
Ravenkit's kithood was a happy one, spent frolicking in the meadows and rough-housing with other kits around his own age. He had a loving mother, a strong and protective father, and an incredible older brother that he looked up to and idolized. Graywind had already been named a warrior by the time Ravenkit was born. Ravenkit was eager to begin his apprenticeship and one day become a great warrior like Graywind.
So grand was his curiosity that he'd often try to sneak away from the center of the MeadowClan camp, only to be scooped up by the scruff of his neck by his patient and loving mother, who always did her best to entertain and cultivate him, glad to have such an energetic and easily fascinated son.
Ravenpaw's life took a turn shortly after he began his apprenticeship. He was assigned to a wise she-cat named Rainbriar. She was as quick, kind, but no-nonsense she-cat who seemed to be the perfect answer to Ravenpaw's more rambunctious personality. He often got on her nerves—and never intentionally. Ravenpaw was driven by an indescribably wanderlust, his curiosity only growing as he did. She did her best and taught him how to obey the Warrior Code while still remaining true to himself.
And then, when Ravenpaw was ten moons old, his mother fell ill with disease. It was a strange ailment and didn't seem to be contagious; the medicine cats were stumped. All Ravenpaw, Graywind, and their father could do was watch as Honeyskip withered away and eventually passed to join their ancestors in StarClan.
The whole family was devastated by the loss, but Ravenpaw definitely took it hard. He and Honeyskip had been so close; he'd taken after her in so many ways. Their father, however, was the one to suffer the most: Honeyskip had been his anchor, his sunshine, and without her, Heavyfoot became an unrecognizable version of himself. He was belligerent and abusive, often relying on certain herbs to make it through the day. And unfortunately for Ravenpaw, due to his similarities to his mother, was often the victim of Heavyfoot's abuse.
One day, Heavyfoot became especially physical, and Ravenpaw ended up in the medicine cat den as a result, saved by both Graywind and Rainbriar. Heavyfoot was brought before the then-leader, Peonystar, and banished from the clan without question or hesitation. Peonystar reasoning was that someone who would hurt a clanmate so, not to mention his own kit, did not have a place in MeadowClan. Ravenpaw made his recovery and came to rely on Rainbriar as more than just a mentor; she became something of a guardian to him now that he was, essentially, an orphan.
Ravenstep soon earned his warrior name for his strength of character and commitment to the clan—not to mention his skill as a warrior. He was eager to be fully named, and to flourish under the freedom that came with it. Even though he was loyal to MeadowClan and worked hard to make sure the entirety of the clan was safe and well-fed, he still maintained much of his free spirit, often wandering off to do his own thing, seemingly with his own agenda.
This was especially frustrating to Graywind, seeing as he and Ravenstep were so close; Graywind had just been named deputy of MeadowClan and often felt like Ravenstep's actions often reflected badly not only on Graywind, but also the good name their mother had left behind. Ravenstep had little care for what others thought and simply did what he wanted, even when it meant Graywind was regularly scolding him as a result.
Even so, Ravenstep finally feels at peace with himself, happy to continue working toward the good of all of MeadowClan. He's overjoyed that his brother was able to step up and finally be named [Reggiestar], knowing just how much it means to him.

PERSONALITY
Ravenstep has never been the most responsible tom. Even as a kit, he was reckless and impulsive, his curiosity often a driving force behind his actions. Many believed that as he grew, he would mellow out, but that was not the case. If anything, he became bolder as he aged; his sheer size and hearty constitution after his growth spurt made him feel invincible, and Ravenstep was more willing to put himself in danger for no other reason than, "It's fun."
He has never been a serious cat. It's easier for him to view life with a sense of humor, which makes him good for a laugh. He's light-hearted, rarely takes things personally, and his good, kind, outgoing nature makes him a natural and easy friend to most cats that he meets, regardless of clan alliances. Ravenstep knows how to have fun and is more than happy to share his good time with others.
Ravenstep is creative and gets a lot of joy out of expressing himself in unusual ways. He will often use mud, crushed berries or other herbs, stones, and so on to create abstract art pieces on the rocks littered throughout the MeadowClan territory. He often uses that creativity to his advantage elsewhere, too, thinking of unique solutions to the problems that he comes across.
Despite the fact that Ravenstep isn't a terribly serious tom and it might seem like he's incapable of being responsible, he is an incredibly protective cat and has a deep-seeded loyalty to his clan. He won't hesitate to risk his own life or put himself in harms way if it means being able to protect and watch out for someone weaker than himself. He's got a genuinely good heart and pure motivations; he just treasures his own freedom on top of it.
