PERSONALITY
Splashmist is a calm, level-headed and open-minded she-cat. She's quite soft-spoken, but very polite and friendly. She generally doesn't go out of her way to interact with others especially if they're busy, but if she sees someone by themself she will attempt to keep them company. She's quite playful and energetic, and likes to crack jokes to lighten the mood. She doesn't really like to talk about herself, though, or her past. Bringing up her missing brother will put a damper on her mood and she will quickly change the subject, and she may even be rather reclusive for the rest of the day. While she's fairly outgoing, Splashmist likes to take time for herself, especially if she's exhausted or stressed. She's got a bit of a short temper and may lash out if pushed too far, but she's very quick to apologize. She's generally a pacifist, but she will not hesitate to fight to protect her clan if need be. She always appears to have a smile on her face, especially in front of her family, but occasionally she will go off on her own to vent her emotions where no one will find her.
HISTORY
SPLASHKIT | Born to a calico molly named Cherryleaf, Splashkit was most certainly the runt of the litter. She was born alongside a dark-furred tortoiseshell molly named Turtlekit, and two golden tabby toms named Sunkit and Goldkit. Little Splashkit was almost a perfect replica of her mother, having inherited her calico pelt and bright green eyes. Splashkit was a rather timid little thing, and usually tended to stick to her sister's side. Even so, the four kits got along very well and would often reek havoc in the camp. Splashkit was quite weak and sickly during the first few moons of her life, but as the time for their apprenticeship approached, she slowly grew stronger. Splashkit and her siblings never knew who their father was, and Cherryleaf refused to talk about him so they eventually gave up asking.
SPLASHPAW | The day came when Splashpaw and her siblings were finally named apprentices. Splashpaw's mentor was a silver tabby molly named Pebblebreeze. A calm and patient cat, she helped ease Splashpaw into her training. Splashpaw was quick to find that she quite enjoyed her training sessions with Pebblebreeze, and often began looking forward to them. She would also, on occasion, train with her siblings. But her siblings were all still quite a bit larger than her, which made her feel somewhat insecure. But she never let it get her down. However, while Splashpaw was quiet and obedient, her siblings were all much rowdier and harder to control, especially Turtlepaw. They would often leave the camp by themselves to explore or practice training, even though Splashpaw tried to prevent them from doing so.
One day, after such an excursion, Goldpaw and Turtlepaw returned to camp but Sunpaw did not. They merely assumed he'd wandered off to explore by himself and that he'd be back soon. However, he had not returned to camp that evening. And in the morning, he still had not come back. Scared, Splashpaw confided in Pebblebreeze, who led a patrol out to search for the young tom. But no matter how much they searched, Sunpaw never showed up again. After about a week of searching to no avail, he was declared dead and they gave up the search. This struck Splashpaw especially hard and for a good while she became frightened and paranoid, refusing to leave camp alone. It was only due to Pebblebreeze's gentle reassurances that she was able to return to her training again.
SPLASHMIST | She was never quite the same after the disappearance of her brother. She became more reserved and timid, and absolutely refuses to talk about what happened to Sunpaw. Pretty soon, they finished their training and Splashpaw earned the name Splashmist. She retains quite a good relationship with her former mentor, and the incident has pushed her to be closer with her remaining siblings. She refuses to let anything happen to Goldwhisker or Turtleheart, and will protect them with her life if she has to.
