PERSONALITY
Gentle and kind, Ella is the epitome of a good kittypet. She is affectionate to those she trusts and never goes beyond the bounds of the twoleg property she lives in, even if she is fascinated by and curious about the sights, smells, and sounds that reach her in the yard. She isn't terribly adventurous, preferring to watch and observe the things around her.
She is very smart and intuitive, often able to read another cat or a twoleg by their body language alone. Her compassionate nature makes it easy for her to want to care for others and do all she can to help make them feel better. Even so, she's also a bit shy, often keeping her distance from twoleg strangers until she has some time to get used to them, and can be a bit insecure or unsure of herself.

HISTORY
Ella's life has been a remarkably easy one, considering her origins. Her mother, Faye, was an unspayed housecat and became pregnant after several flirtatious encounters with a handsome, mysterious rogue that bravely wandered the twoleg place. However, before Faye's litter was born, the rogue stopped coming around. She would realize that she was not going to see him again.
After Ella and their sister, Moe, were born, there was some uncertainty among the twolegs as to what to do with them. Their tiny home was already full with Faye, a dog, and a brand new twoleg baby; raising two infant kittens was not something they had time for. They looked for a kitten rescue; the nearest was hours away. They asked numerous family and friends; no one could take in kittens. The final option was the nearby animal shelter.
However, blessedly, a small family in a twoleg property on the edge of the forest came forward, having heard about the kittens through word of mouth. They had enough room, time, and love to take in the kittens and raise them. Ella and Moe were given their names by the two young twoleg children of the family when they were finally old enough to leave their mother and live without her constant attention.
Ella was particularly heartbroken to leave their mother, as they had a close relationship to her as they'd grown. At first, she was shy and skittish of her new twoleg family, but watching their more outgoing sister romp and play and cuddle with them gave Ella the confidence to do the same.
For two years, she has known comfort and love in this home, and Ella has been the epitome of a good cat. They are affectionate and playful with their family, follow the rules of the house, and never, ever go beyond the boundaries of the property—no matter how curious she is about the mysterious world that lays beyond.
