boulderpaw's only had eight moons for his personality to develop, and yet -- throughout his life, he's already gone from one of the shyest cats around to finally deciding to be bold, to be confident. as an apprentice, he's now one of the loudest and most energetic cats around, often times speaking loudly and excitedly about whatever he's talking about. he's also incredibly outgoing and friendly, trying to make friends with just about every cat there is to be friends with. he's often times seen playing with the kits, being a cat climbing gym for them to play on. he loves spending time with the elders and kits, often times smiling from ear to ear as they play.
on top of being a very energetic cat, boulderpaw is incredibly dedicated to his training -- he wants to be the best warrior there is, which means being the best apprentice there is! he loves getting to go out with his mentor, actually getting to learn everything he always dreamed of learning while a kit. he's also a tough guy, always the bravest apprentice to step up and try an exercise first, or the first to throw himself in between what might be trouble and his friends. he wants to help everyone as best as he can, always.
boulderpaw doesn't believe in lying -- he never has -- and he thinks that to lie is to be a coward. especially with other cats, it's very easy to lose boulderpaw's trust if he finds out a cat has been lying to him. he doesn't want to be the bad guy, but sometimes it has to be that way. he's a kind-hearted cat who goes out of his way to help everyone, especially those 'weaker' than him. he doesn't want anyone to ever feel the way he did when he was younger.
while boulderpaw might be a stronger cat, he's also incredibly self-critical of himself -- to the extent that sometime he starts to get anxious over his performance and skills. he can be incredibly self-doubting, even though he'd never say it out loud to his clanmates. he pushes himself pretty hard, just so that he knows he's really doing the best he possibly can.
when boulderkit was born, he was born alone. a single kit litter in a period of time where branchclan was stuffed to the brim with queens -- abnormally small litters, each with only one or two kittens to show for them. and despite all this... well, boulderkit was sure he was never going to have any friends.
as a small kit, he wasn't brave -- he was shy, scared of everything, and often hid behind his mother. but things changed when he became an apprentice. he decided he was tired of being scared, tired of being hesitant about everything around him -- and so he decided to be brave.
he would go on to make friends with some of his fellow apprentices, kittens that were born at around the same time as him but he never entertained the idea of being friends with before. he got a fun group of friends, four other apprentices that he decided were the best friends he could ever have. that's not to say he didn't become friends with others -- he made friends with the other 'clique' of apprentices, even if they weren't as close as the others.
boulderpaw is insistent on being the best warrior he can be, even if being the best warrior means helping everyone else be the best, too.
BLAZEPAW :: a grumpy, loud apprentice that boulderpaw has befriended. blazepaw is easily boulderpaw's ultimate best friend, and he tries to do everything with him -- including the friendly competition they have with each other.
LIGHTNINGPAW :: a bit of a dorky tom, but one of boulderpaw's good friends. he likes watching him be a bit of an idiot when it comes to his training, even though he does try to help.
MOUSEPAW :: one of boulderpaw's good friends. they enjoy hanging out and training together, often times sharing their meals together.
WILDPAW :: the lone she-cat in their friend group, wildpaw and boulderpaw have known each other since they were very little, having been born within a few days of each other.
SUNBIRD :: one of the younger warriors in the clan. boulderpaw thinks he's the raddest cat around.
MOSSPAW :: a tomcat who's part of the other group of apprentices. boulderpaw thinks he's the sweetest thing around, and really just wants to help him succeed.
ROCKPAW :: a cavernclan apprentice who is eerily similar to boulderpaw, personality wise. they have a fun rivalry between each other, and can be seen play-wrestling at gatherings.
DUCKSPRING :: boulderpaw's mother. a sweet, small she-cat.
BARKTOOTH :: boulderpaw's father. a big bulky tom with dark red fur and a very strong, confident personality.
