PERSONALITY
Those who know Yarrowflight well would readily describe them as a free spirit. Although they are capable of intense loyalty to those who earn it, they are driven by curiosity and a thirst for adventure. They are the kind of cat who sees a challenge and thinks, "What do I have to do to overcome this challenge?" They sometimes struggle to acknowledge their own limitations, and this recklessness has gotten them into more scrapes than they care to keep track of.
They are a compassionate cat, willing and able to offer a friendly ear to those who might need it. They do their best to give advice where they can; on the flip side, they struggle to take that advice themself. Though they project a carefree persona of happiness and serenity, they have a lot of negativity that they bottle up inside and often feel like they don't truly belong to BranchClan.
Yarrowflight is a charming young cat and has a tendency to come off as more flirtatious than they mean sometimes. They struggle with the concept of love, believing a cat like them will never find it, and prefer to keep things casual and light-hearted. Even so, they are a very tactile cat and love the comfort of touch; when they become truly comfortable with another cat, they will not hesitate to lay on top of them, boop foreheads, tangle tails, groom them, and so on.

HISTORY
Yarrowflight was born to two prominent warriors within the BranchClan. Their family was well known for their stealth and ability to fight, and Yarrowflight and their older brother, Boragestrike, were expected to live up to the precedence set by their parents and grandparents. While Boragestrike was all to happy to strive and live up to the expectations, Yarrowflight had other ideas. They were very much a free spirit, driven by curiosity and a desire for adventure. The familiarity of the BranchClan territory bored them; they would toe the lines of clan territory and use their climbing ability to explore what laid beyond their home.
As an apprentice warrior, they trained under Copperhowl, a fierce and somewhat stoic warrior. The hope of their family was that someone like Copperhowl would teach Yarrowflight to be a little more serious; unfortunately, Yarrowflight saw Copperhowl as the ultimate challenge and would frequently push the old tom's buttons, always wondering just how much they could get away with. As time passed, Yarrowflight eventually began to take their training more seriously and absorbed the lessons taught to them without ever losing that free and adventurous spirit they had. Their apprenticeship ended, and Yarrowflight was gifted their warrior name, chosen for Yarrowflight's unprecedented speed and the way that their leaps between the trees oftentimes resembled flight.
They have served the clan as a warrior for many moons, doing what has been asked of them with little fuss or complaint. Their attention, however, constantly wanders from the clan, wondering what lies beyond their territories and wishing they could find out. For a while, they thought things might never change, that they'd be stuck in the same routine, feeling lonely forever, when their father was killed in an accident.
Things changed after that. Yarrowflight can feel the tension between themself and Boragestrike growing, but they have no idea what they can do to salvage the relationship. For now, Yarrowflight is doing the best they can to keep positive and do what they can for the clan.
