HISTORY
newtkit was born with two siblings to the reedclan warriors rabbittail and falconleg. all kits were born healthy and named newtkit, toadkit, and frogkit. even from a young age, newkit seemed adverse to the usual adventuring of kits, preferring to stick to her mother's side while toadkit led frogkit bounding around camp. the world was big and scary, and newtkit dreaded leaving the comfort of the nursery.
as an apprentice, she was assigned to the warrior muskratfur, a calm and unassuming young tom. he was friendly, if not a bit average, and newtpaw appreciated his mellow attitude and lack of huge expectations for her. he didn't work her incredibly hard, though in the end he tended to cater to her shy nature rather than trying to help her build confidence.
it was quickly discovered that her strengths laid in fighting, much to newtpaw's horror. she hated the idea of hurting other cats, even (though she would be hesitant to admit it), those from other clans. she pushed her focus instead towards training, and while she wasn't as fishing and hunting, it was much more appealing to her to spend her energy feeding the clan or doing chores around camp.
she earned her warrior name, newtfern, and has since been trying to get used to her new duties as a warrior. she works hard and tries to avoid too much attention by staying busy and pulling her weight around camp. she admires her sister, toadbounce, she her confidence and energy, and definitely wishes she could be more like her. her goals are small, but she simply wants to serve her clan the best she can.
